Job purpose

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for ensuring that Plant Maintenance is done effectively and accurately in such a way to ensure the minimum downtime. The successful incumbent must be willing to work shifts, overtime, on weekends and public holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• N3 and trade test as a Millwright or Electrician
• Minimum 6-10 years production line or FMCG maintenance experience
• Code 08 driver’s license
• Bakery experience will be an added advantage

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Electrical and mechanical plant maintenance
• Maintain the plant and equipment
• Quick and timeous response to breakdowns on the plant
• Plan and co-ordinate small jobs
• Lathe and milling
• Accurate completion of administrative forms
