a Masters' degree (professional) or 5-year Bachelors’ degree in architecture or equivalent
teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
a demonstrable record of research scholarship, for example a PhD degree and/or creative works that would equate to a PhD degree in architecture or equivalent
Candidates should have a defined area of research in Architecture Design and Technology, and demonstrate a creative and innovative spirit in teaching and practice. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability to teach at the intersection of different subjects through studios, workshops and seminars to students from a diversity of backgrounds. Candidates must be willing to engage across the various disciplines within the architecture department, with a strong emphasis on the integration between Technology and Design.
We seek an individual who can add new dimensions to our intellectual activities; help us change design in new ways that are responsive to broader social and environmental needs; and who are ready to teach studios, workshops and seminars. Staff responsibilities are teaching, research, administration and social responsibility.
