Role Summary

The main responsibility of the Infrastructure Manager is to manage the company’s data and implement up to date solutions across the IT Infrastructure. Successful applicant will be required to oversee the company’s technical staff and work closely with senior management to propose improvements to the business infrastructure and report progress on various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Will be responsible for the management and oversight of the following key areas:

• Both our ISP and cloud hosted infrastructure to ensure we have a fully redundant system.
• Backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime in the event of a disaster.
• Security, IPS and firewalls.
• Telephony equipment, servers and VoIP
• Last mile connectively and the redundancy of this link
• Network, switches, firewalls, VLANs, server and desktops and BYOD
• Monitoring of all systems and servers
• Infrastructure Projects
• Documentation and IT policies
• Purchase management of IT equipment and ownership of IT asset registers
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing corporate networks and/or live hosted infrastructure
• Experience supporting AD, Exchange and Lync for at least 100+ users
• Experience with Cisco / Fortigate, VMWare, SQL Server, IIS, .NET frameworks, SAP, Linux, OSX, MongoDB
• Experience in cloud management (Microsoft Azure)
• Microsoft / Cisco / VMware certification advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Enjoys working in a fast passed, pressured environment which is likely to change frequently as new technology stacks are introduced
