    Enterprise sales executive- South Africa

    Job description

    Job Overview

    About This Position

    Responsibilities include:

    • Primary point-of-contact for Enterprise /Key accounts / (Maintains contact with account at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship
    • Prospect Enterprise accounts, generate interest, qualify and develop new business – Harvest and Farm opportunities
    • Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned to the defined Account List.
    • Develop an overall account strategy leading to the deployment of a well-executed team selling effort into the assigned accounts. Team will include sales, corporate management, and technical sales support.
    • Focus on Customer Satisfaction and retention and growing the Sub-Sahara Africa Region.

    Requirements

    • Must have exceptional track record selling high-end software or hardware solutions, preferably in at least two of the following disciplines, Application Architectures & Performance Management, Storage & Infrastructure Management or Network Infrastructure, to large, Blue Chip type accounts.
    • Ideal candidate will have 6+ years of direct selling experience. Established relationships in the Telecommunications and/or Banking and/or Finance industry are an advantage
    • Strong Experience of Selling to C-Level Audience
    • Responsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and pro-actively identifying and addressing competitive threats
    • Individual must possess good communication skills and ability to interact with all levels or organizations.
    • Track record of exceeding quotas year after year.
    • Exceptional sales presentation skills are mandatory.
    • Resides in the targeted geography w/local relationships
    • Good working experience with key local resellers and experience establishing and fostering strong Channel Partner relationships
    • Experience using salesforce.com is a plus.
    • Bachelor degree or 12 yrs plus sales experience selling technical IT solutions
