Requirements:

• Bachelor of Cormerce Honours: Business Information Systems (or equivalent)
• More than 10 years relevant experience of which 2-5 years should be at a Senior Management

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a strategicc IT plan in line with the company's vision, mission ad strategic mandate
• Strategize, research, develop and revieww appropriate IT technologies, systems, processes and adopt best practices.
• Lead and manage the IT Department and team
• Serve and support operational management with IT solutions and services
• Identify, manage, and mitigate IT related risks in the company
• Review and approve supplier contracts and service level agreements
• Negotiate IT requirements and costs with service providers (sub-contracts, consultants, etc)
• Manage the procurement of IT equipment and services for the company
• Review and approve capex for IT equipment
• Manage the disposal ofIT assets and allocate costs
• Manage software licensing agreements and related costs
• Drive IT related continuous improvement projects and initiatives
• Assess and improve the IT business-critical system capabilities for the company
• Deelop, setup and improve the IT architecture of the company (WAN,LAN, Servers, Hardware inftrasturcture, Telecoms, etc)
• Review and approve software development projects

Character:

• Master of Commerce in Information Systems
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
