Job Summary

As a Security Installations Team leader in the Client Services – Cloud team, you will support and provide leadership to the Security Installation Engineers in the maintenance and efficient operations for their area of responsibility. They work closely with internal stakeholders in order to co-ordinate activities and resources in support of projects and products that are implemented.

What we will expect you to do:

• Implementation of larger scale Security Projects
• Completion and quality assessment of Work Orders in Siebel nationally
• Ensure that all projects meet the Security standardized methodology and quality through assessment of

Work completed

• Provide technical updates and support to complex ongoing issues within the Implementation area to immediate upper management and escalation points
• Provide high-level escalation support to Installations/Support Engineers for the network roll out and post implementations
• Improve on current processes and take active participation in progressing with the process changes, product implementation.
• Attending site installations for core and pilot sites ensuring all elements of the install relating are tested fully and that failover solutions work if applicable.
• Validate all new security products to ensure they meet minimum client services communications standards
• Train new installations engineers around all security products
• Document all installation methods on all products by following the company prescribed standards and procedures like change control and ITIL/ISO compliancy.
• Here’s what we are looking for in candidates for this job:

Key requirements:

• IT degree/diploma or relevant certification. (CCNA, FCNSA)
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Internet Security with strong emphasis on Fortinet Fortigate firewalls, Juniper SSL VPN and Cisco PIX Firewall
• Strong Networking and TCP/IP skills (Cisco Switching, IOS, VLANS, Trunking, & trouble shooting)
• Unix bases operating systems (FreeBSD and Linux preferred)

Key abilities required:

• This is a high-pressure, high-response environment where the candidate is required to have a good understanding of the products we support and install. The majority of work currently involves Fortigate Firewalls, Juniper SSL VPN, with PIX Firewalls.
• MicrosoftVisio - Open Office skills are required as the candidate will need to do documentation and presentations from time to time.
