Job description

The role of this job is to plan, budget, oversee and document the technical delivery of launches the company’s product as well as specific projects. The key deliverable will be to ensure that projects are delivered as per agreed schedule. You will be responsible for ensuring that the business objectives are achieved via project delivery and will work across multiple teams and to drive and problem solve on software development projects.
The position is considered to be one with relatively high pressure and complexity. The project manager is expected to understand how to prioritise.

Skills and Requirements:

• Relevant Project Management certification PMP or APMP or Certified Project Management Professional (IPMA Level C) or Project Management Trainer
• Alternatively, relevant qualification B.Sc. / B-comm / MBA / MBL / MPM / Business Diploma (3yrs) / Adv Management Diploma
• 4 - 6 years project management experience within a Software &/ IT environment
• Ability to manage complex projects that span multiple business units
• Manage interrelated projects / sub projects, elements & context relations several involved different organisational units; several different phases
• Ability to select & customise many project management methods tools & techniques as required
