Procurement Manager at Syndicate

Job description

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing packaging and raw material suppliers and their spend for South Africa
• Investigating available and existing suppliers that comply with the company’s procurement procedures, with specific emphasis to BEE where applicable
• Negotiating with suppliers to achieve the best value for money
• Supporting local users in the requisition process, handling and resolution of business and suppliers enquiries

Applicants must have a Degree or National Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or equivalent coupled with at least 4 to 6 years Procurement experience within a FMCG manufacturing environment. Knowledge of SAP is a prerequisite. 

NB: This position is a 12 month contract.
