Summary of Role

The role of Head of Shared Services is critical to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the newly created Shared Services area and will be instrumental in the successful design, implementation, transition and sustainability of our future operating model. The role will be responsible for setting up the Group Shared Services Centre (GSS) which will operate as an internal customer service business unit. The objective of the GSS is to achieve service excellence, continuous improvement, cost reduction and efficiency.

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• 8 - 10 years' experience in a management consulting/operational improvement role
• Experience in Short Term Insurance advantage
• Demonstrated experience in supporting the development and implementation of organisational strategy and objectives.
• Proven track record of achievement in the development and delivery of high quality corporate services.
• Experience in leading and managing teams
• Change management experience

Educational Requirements:

Honours degree minimum
