    Group Executive: Taxpayer Compliance Strategy and Performance

    Job description

    Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

     

    • Manage the area marketing activities to support sales activities as well as business planning
    • Maximize sales opportunities and performance to achieve revenue targets
    • Ensure, recommend and deploy for the business unit clear sales, account management and marketing strategies
    • Ensure that the area sales and marketing functions have the right structure and resources in place to drive maximum sales
    • Support the areas with robust performance management of sales engineers to ensure the Sales Engineers and Area Sales Managers achieve the rates as per target levels
    • Develop the sales CRM systems to drive optimal performance
    • Review the development of Sales Engineers and Area Sales Managers and agree annual training and development plans with their line managers
    • On a case by case basis engage with the Sales Engineers on sales calls and negotiations
    • Ensure sales commission schemes are in place and are driving performance
    • Monitor competitor activity and submit accurate competitor info on a monthly basis
    • Create comprehensive annual report to drive sales targeting
    • Put in place a pricing strategy and a pricing tools to optimise revenue generation
    • Ensure the business unit has clear account management strategies and plans for increasing sales from existing customers
    • Deliver continuously improving Sat Metrix results across the business units
    • Work closely and communicate effectively with business units managers across departments
    • Contribute to the strategy of the region and business unit
    • Submit monthly management reports to line manageEnsure all sales teams adhere to company QHSE policies and procedures
    • Control costs within published guidelines and authority levels
    • Communicate with management on geographical opportunities on a regular basis
    • Manage and complete monthly report; weekly call reports and other administrative tasks on time and to the required standards
    • Continuously monitor the designated market sectors and probe for new opportunities
    • Conduct induction, performance appraisal, development and training of direct reports
    • Commitment to and involvement in Aggreko Orange Excellence

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor Degree in related field or equivalent qualifications
    • 10+ years of management experience in sales, customer service delivery, and customer relationships
    • Proven sales track record
    • Proven success in leading, motivating and mentoring sales teams
    • Has knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering or both
    • Knowledge of rental styles of business is desirable
    • Availability to travel as and when required
    • Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
    • Office based job but requires frequent visits to the sites

    • Prior line management experience, preferably from a rental, service or technology business background
    • High level of commitment and loyalty
    • Quality oriented with attention to details and capable of working to deadlines
    • Capable of working on his/her own initiative
    • Able to work long hours in demanding conditions
