    Manager: Alphera Financial Services

    Job description

    Develop and implement overall strategy of the Alphera Business line whilst overseeing a team of professional sales associates, ensuring that their behaviour supports the wider strategic objectives of Alphera and the achievement of the set goals and targets. The role requires effective ‘hands on’ sales and relationship management, as well as being able to identify and exploit key market opportunities and providing tactical and strategic support to the sales force.

    Job Outputs:

    • Responsible for delivering the business results committed during the annual budget and LRP planning processes, carefully balancing Head Quarter (Munich) as well as local expectations with specific regard to Volumes, Margin, Risk and Profitability.
    • Leading the Alphera National Sales and Sales Development functions whilst overseeing all strategic and operational sales activities.
    • Lead and develop the Managers of the business line.
    • Approve and oversee the resource planning and organizational development within the business line to ensure an appropriately structured and balanced team that is capable of dealing with future business requirements.
    • Responsible for definition, implementation and execution of the Alphera new partner acquisition process.
    •  Develop new business strategy for key Alphera Partners such as OEM’s / Dealer Groups.
    • Responsible for ensuring that the Alphera Product offering and new product development are aligned with market expectations and requirements.
    • Promote and continually improve the Alphera brand management in the marketplace, with internal and external stakeholders, so as to ensure that Alphera is recognized as a premium Multi-Make financial services provider.
    • Responsible for the setting and agreement of Targets for the Multi-Make business in South Africa.
    • Ensures ‘Best Practice Sharing’ both locally and internationally within the Global Alphera community.
