Health & Safety Zone Manager:

• COMSOC 1 & 2 / SAMTRAC / NEBOSCH
• Legal Liability training – Obtained from an accredited NQF registered training facility
• Incident Investigation Techniques – Obtained from an accredited NQF registered training facility
• HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) – Obtained from an accredited NQF registered training facility
• Construction experience 8 years, of which 3 years should be relevant to the contractor scope of work.
• Must be able to obtain a medical fitness certificate
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own transport essential
• Reside within the Ogies / Witbank / Nkangala / Middelburg area (Mpumalanga)
• Fluent in English
• Computer Literate (MS Office / Outlook) – Practical experience will be tested
• Be willing to work prolonged construction hours
• SACPCMP registration / or in the process of registering

Optional:

First aid level 1

Health & Safety Officer:

• COMSOC 1&2 / SAMTRAC / NEBOSH or equivalent

• Construction experience 3 years, of which 1 year should be in maintaining H&S Systems.
• Must be able to obtain a medical fitness certificate
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own transport essential
• Reside within the Ogies / Witbank / Nkangala / Middelburg area (Mpumalanga)
• Fluent in English
• Computer Literate (MS Office / Outlook) – Practical experience will be tested

Health & Safety Inductors:

• Tertiary Educators Qualifications / Train the Trainer
• At least 5 years’ experience as a trainer or educator
• Must be able to obtain a medical fitness certificate
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own transport essential
• Reside within the Ogies / Witbank / Nkangala / Middelburg area (Mpumalanga)
• Able to speak, read & write multiple languages (English / Zulu / Xhosa / Tswana / etc.)
• Computer Literate (MS Office / Outlook) – Practical experience will be tested
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions
• Excellent communicator – Practical presentation skills will be evaluated
