Job description

Cowan South Africa is recruiting to fill the position of Creditors Clerk for our client, a dynamic and expanding industrial group.

THE OPPORTUNITY
- Capturing and reconciling supplier invoices and accounts
- Compiling monthly payments list
- Control and maintaining the creditors age analysis
- Ensuring all invoices are captured correctly and processed for payment
- Ensuring all invoices comply to relevant SARS requirements
- Ensuring that all supplier invoices has a proof of delivery and a purchase order and that the invoiced amount agrees to the purchase order
- Following up of any discrepancies
- Complete all documents
- Comparing and verifying all invoices to open orders
- Performing all relevant expected duties
YOU ARE
- A South African National (Non-negotiable)
- Currently or recently employed in a similar position
- Able to work under pressure
- Computer literate: MS office included
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Able to work independently and keep to strict deadlines
YOU BRING
- 2-5 years’ Experience as a Creditors Clerk
- Minimum qualification: Matric /Grade 12 certificate
