Creditors Clerk at Cowan

Job description

Cowan South Africa is recruiting to fill the position of Creditors Clerk for our client, a dynamic and expanding industrial group.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Capturing and reconciling supplier invoices and accounts
• Compiling monthly payments list
• Control and maintaining the creditors age analysis
• Ensuring all invoices are captured correctly and processed for payment
• Ensuring all invoices comply to relevant SARS requirements
• Ensuring that all supplier invoices has a proof of delivery and a purchase order and that the invoiced amount agrees to the purchase order
• Following up of any discrepancies
• Complete all documents
• Comparing and verifying all invoices to open orders
• Performing all relevant expected duties

YOU ARE

• A South African National (Non-negotiable)
• Currently or recently employed in a similar position
• Able to work under pressure
• Computer literate: MS office included
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Able to work independently and keep to strict deadlines

YOU BRING

• 2-5 years’ Experience as a Creditors Clerk
• Minimum qualification: Matric /Grade 12 certificate
