FIS Asset Arena 360 is currently looking for an experienced Java Developer to join the team in Cape Town

The Software Engineer will work on several aspects of the software development life-cycle including; software design, development and application testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Write software to implement technical requirements (backbone) & functional features
• Follow other senior developers (best practices, delivery, integration, unit testing..)
• Work with the QA Team to assist them in developing integration and functional tests

Level 3 support:

• Analysis of software defects and feedback to Professional Services team
• The technology stack will include:
• Java8, Swing, JavaFX, JUnit
• Windows, Eclipse IDE
• JBoss, Tomcat
• Spring, Hibernate
• MySQL
• Maven, SVN, JIRA, Crucible, Bamboo, Sonar

Person Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years Java experience and at Intermediate level

We are looking for candidates who have previously worked on financial systems – however, this is not a mandatory requirement and we will consider other enterprise software environments
