Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Responsible for in field technical support aligned with key segment focus in Mining & Construction. Support Sales Representatives and with expertise of the market, customers and competitive environment
Product Technical support
Participates in key industry associations that are aligned to target segments
Works across channels and customers. Coordinate between Technology, Marketing, Sales and customers around product quality and integrity issues
Ensure continuous improvement at customer sites. Conduct lubricant surveys, introduce new products & technologies
Improves customers' total cost of ownership and equipment availability. Involved with internal and external lubrication training.Identify up-sell and value based selling opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Engineering Degree or National Technical Diploma plus mining CLS Tribology
Minimum of 5 years lubricants technical field experience within the Petroleum industry
Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Proven ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results
Relocation Options:
Relocation may be considered within Chevron South Africa parameters.
International Considerations
Selected candidates will work in South Africa under the local payroll system and benefits.
