    Marketing - CRM Messaging Automation Manager

    Job description

    • Then read further : ShowMax is looking for a CRM Messaging Automation Manager, who will report to the Senior CRM Marketing Manager and will be based at our office in Johannesburg.

    Role :

    The CRM Messaging Automation Manager will :

    • closely cooperate with multiple stakeholders — Marketing, Product, Engineering, Payments and Partnerships, Content, Design, Analytics and agencies to scope and gather, prioritize, coordinate, brief and roll out campaigns and requirements with user in mind.
    • execute the campaigns using the CRM marketing tool on multiple channels (email, in-app messaging, push notifications, SMS, web notifications) on multiple platforms and devices (web, iOS and Android) and will coordinate delivery of campaign materials and API data required.
    • be responsible for setting up and implementing the digital messaging strategy from inception through to analysis. This includes KPI preparation and campaign implementation using our in-house CRM personalized messaging software.
    • You have a customer-centric attitude with a focus on trigger and behavior based messaging that drives conversion and engagement and essentially creates lifetime customers. People management skills coupled with your technical and analytical skills will secure you this role.

    Responsibilities :

    • You will be the custodian of the ShowMax personalized messaging engagement platform looking at user behaviour to leverage insights to drive interactions through email, push messaging, web messaging, in app messages or re-targeting.
    • You will also be responsible for :
    • Assisting in planning, executing, briefing trigger, lifecycle and marketing related digital messaging for ShowMax across multiple countries.
    • Managing campaigns & lifecycle marketing program deployment roadmap through our automated messaging engagement platform.
    • Ensuring campaigns are constantly tracked, reported on and optimized.
    • Executing in conjunction with marketing and product, A/B testing of messaging and landing pages to optimize key metrics.
    • Targeting and segmentation in relation to lifecycle messaging and user journey development
    • Developing automated messaging flows and conditional text.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of 3-4 years of product management / CRM experience.
    • Business, Marketing or Technical degree
    • A solid technical background with a good understanding of CRM and messaging automation's best practice
    • Extremely efficient, with superb organizational skills. You’ll balance many projects and relationships simultaneously.
    • Must have a strong understanding of behavior based marketing
    • Prior experience working with messaging automation software is advantageous
    • A deep understanding data mining & analysis
    • Sense of humor and a get things done attitude
