    Receptionist and Office Administrator

    Introduction:

    • Our client, based in Kempton Park, operates within the agricultural and industrial solutions environment, supplying specialised flow systems and livestock equipment to local and international markets.
    • They are seeking a professional and highly organised Office Administrator to support the smooth and efficient operation of Head Office by providing comprehensive administrative, clerical, and reception support to management, staff, visitors, and customers.\

    Job Purpose:

    • To ensure the effective day-to-day administration of the office by providing professional reception services, administrative support to management, and coordination of office, facilities, and operational requirements.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum education (essential):

    • National Senior Certificate
    • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field (advantageous)

    Minimum applicable experience (years):

    • 2-4 years’ relevant administrative or office support experience

    Required nature of experience:

    • Front-office reception and customer-facing experience
    • General office administration and clerical support
    • Processing purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliations

    Office Administration & Operational Support

    • Perform general administrative duties, including processing purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliations.
    • Coordinate office supplies, stationery, equipment procurement, and storeroom management.
    • Manage supplier and vendor relationships to support smooth office operations.
    • Support fleet management, vehicle hire, courier services, and facilities-related tasks.
    • Assist with technical issues, office upkeep, and internal process improvements.

    Coordination & Logistics

    • Arrange staff travel, accommodation, and vehicle bookings.
    • Assist with office events, meetings, and internal functions, including catering and setup.
    • Support marketing and training logistics when required.

    Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

    Introduction:

    • A diversified agricultural group with large-scale egg production, poultry rearing units, crop farming operations, game farming, re-establish a cattle feedlot and commercial property holdings is seeking an experienced and decisive Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
    • The businesses operate across multiple sites in Klerksdorp, Kroonstad and surrounding regions, supported by strong financial foundations and established operational systems.
    • The CEO will provide strategic direction, ensure sustainable growth, oversee all operational units, establish business infrastructure, and uphold the group’s long-standing reputation within the South African poultry industry.

    Job Purpose:

    • To lead the entire group operations, ensuring operational excellence, long-term profitability, and strategic growth. The CEO is responsible for the full oversight of all farms, production units, commercial properties, financial systems, staff structures, and expansion projects.
    • Reporting directly to the Board/Managing Director, the CEO will drive performance, manage senior leadership across all entities, and ensure that the group maintains its strong position as a leading producer in the industry.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum education (essential):

    • National Senior Certificate
    • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Management, Production Management, or similar (essential)
    • Postgraduate qualification (MBA/MPM) will be an advantage

    • 10 –15+ years senior management experience

    • Poultry, agriculture, FMCG, or large-scale production experience in a related environment (strong advantage)
