Key Responsibility Areas:

• Leads Durban Brand planning process and executes annual brand target setting and innovation review and brand strategy review.
• Drives consumer/tourists understanding and insights that defines Durban Tourism prime prospects, attitudes and values.
• Advertises aggressively and constantly markets and promotes the Durban Brand to become a preferred tourist destination of choice across the globe.
• Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day forecasting and management of promotional materials.
• Directs and manages the activities of the Division.
• Manages, develops and monitors the performance and conduct of subordinates and participates in the selection of subordinates.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:

• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Marketing or Business Administration or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 5 Years relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Preferred Requirements:

• Degree (NQF Level 7) in Marketing or Business Administration or Brand Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
• 6 Years relevant experience.
