Job Description

Requirements:

•  National Diploma in Civil Engineering
•  Must have experience on Primavera P6 / CCS and MS Projects
•  Experience on Planning, Scheduling and Delay Analysis
•  3 - 5 years' experience as a planner

Responsibilities:

•  Ensure adherence with the organisation's code of conduct
•  Comply with legal requirements for a construction contract
•  Calculate quantities from drawings and compare with Bill of Quantities
•  Identify main work groupings and compile draft tender program
•  Set up initial programme using discipline specific templates
•  Review programme links, durations and production rates
• Print out programme, histograms and cash-flows and distribute to relevant stakeholders
•  Submit cotnract programme and narrative to the Contracts Manager for client approval
• Set up construction programme in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
• Manage the finances of the project to achieve departmental objectives
•  Identify cost saving and cash conservation opportunities
•  Apply continuously improve estimating policies and procedures.
