- Brainstorming ideas with the content team.
- Taking ownership of the voice and audience of Ten.
- Mentoring writing team members.
- Editing and analysing writing of team members to ensure the content is engaging and effective.
- Generating original daily content for the company’s platforms liaising with experts in other departments for information.
- Reviewing and refreshing old content.
The ideal candidate will:
- Previous experience as a writer/editor is an advantage.
- Have high levels of analytical skill.
- English, copywriting and/or journalism qualification is an advantage.
- Be able to write clear, concise and inspiring copy.
- Proactive and self-disciplined with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work accurately under deadline pressure and willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Work experience in the media industry is an advantage.
- Be highly entrepreneurial.
- Have a personal interest in travel, dining and/or music.
- Work incredibly efficiently and enthusiastically.
- Behave with absolute honesty and integrity.
- Take responsibility for their projects and plan their time.
- Follow through on commitments made.
- Understand the value of being strategic.
