Debtors Manager/Team leader

Wings Travel Management is looking for a Debtors manager to manage a core function of the Accounts – Receivable department in terms of work flow and performance of team, ensuring continuity and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

•  Assure timely collection of monies due to business from clients.
•  Monitor and report on deviations from credit standards.
•  Assure timely and accurate invoicing is made by the Accounts Receivable team.
•  Assure that the companies standard template regarding invoice sample is in place for every client.
•  Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures.
•  Weekly reporting of invoicing totals, aging totals, cash receipts, invoice adjustments.
•  The AR Manager will at times be required to interface with operational managers and occasionally with the executives.

Qualifications:

•  5 years’ experience managerial experience.
•  8 years in credit and collections.
•  Superior spreadsheets skills and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
•  Managerial skills and experience are a must.
