    Solution Architect

    Sapiens Decision, a subsidiary of Sapiens International (NASDAQ: SPNS), is hiring for the position of Decision Architect in its Decision Management practice area. Sapiens Decision is the developer of Sapiens DECISION, the market’s leading enterprise decision management solution. Sapiens recently acquired Knowledge Partners International and the merged business unit of Sapiens Decision now provides an opportunity to work with the inventors of The Decision Model and the field’s leading innovators and practitioners.

    Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

    • Extensive and comprehensive delivery experience in software implementation and management consulting
    • Strong, proven ability to influence others and lead change
    • Extensive business process modeling experience and skill
    • Conceptual and logical data modeling experience
    • Experience with leading decision management (business rules) modeling and execution software
    • Experience in business and enterprise architecture
    • Proven ability to deliver business requirements for enterprise scale projects
    • Development experience and technical background including relational database and Java programming is advantageous
    • Experience in delivering projects using Agile
    • Deep knowledge of the full software development and implementation lifecycle and proven ability to lead teams through the process
    • Proven ability to lead small teams and work highly collaboratively with connected teams and functions
    • Insurance domain knowledge is advantageous

    Education: A bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences, Engineering, or Technology is considered a minimum requirement, but an advanced degree would be preferable.

    Role:

    • As Decision Architect you will be responsible for applying The Decision Model methodology in order to analyze clients’ business motivation, processes and operations, understand target integration technology, and define and execute an optimal decision model architecture. Your responsibilities will include leading small teams of decision modelers, collaborating closely with all other delivery and IT functions, eliciting the logic driving the business decisions, designing the decision architecture, and modeling, validating, testing, deploying and integrating the logic. You will also analyze, elicit and author as-is process models using BPMN 2.0 and be responsible for process reengineering to-be process models. You will work in close partnership with the project manager, technical architect, and all supporting personnel in the full implementation of Sapiens DECISION for the client’s success.
