    Job Description

    Wings® Travel Management invites experienced and professional career sales people (based in Johannesburg and Cape Town) to join our dynamic and expanding sales force. We are looking for passionate candidates who have verifiable and demonstrated track records of working in service related industries; people who thrive in a target driven environment and who enjoy the pressures of expanding business portfolios.

    Duties and Requirements include:

    • New Business Officer (NBO) - Oil and Gas sector – based in Sandton (Johannesburg)
    • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a dedicated sales environment, with a solid track record in service related industries.
    • Experience in a Travel Management Company (TMC) is highly advantageous, as is exposure to the Oil & Energy sector.
    • Knowledge and experience in the African marketplace is beneficial (Angola, Nigeria preferred).
    • Must be prepared to travel into Africa frequently. Portuguese language would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
    • Need to demonstrate a “hunter” approach to sales and should bring a verifiable sales pipeline to the table.
    • Strong presentation and negotiation skills. Must be able to convince difficult audiences.
    • Qualifications: Matric. Relevant diplomas or similar certification would be beneficial.
    • Salary is negotiable at market-related levels and includes a strong scalable sales incentive.
    • Business Development Manager - Oil and Gas sector (Coastal)– based in Cape Town
    • Minimum 6-10 years working experience in sales and account management, with solid experience in dealing with a variety of levels of seniority.
    • Experience in a Travel Management Company (TMC) is highly advantageous, as is exposure to the Oil & Energy sector.
    • Highly independent and self-directed.
    • This role will include the identification, recruitment and establishment of a suitable coastal sales team. An existing sales network that can easily be used will be extremely valuable in developing this team and identifying new business opportunities.
    • Responsible for managing sales targets and expectations. Will be expected to deliver results in short-, medium- and long-term.
    • Must be prepared to travel frequently. Portuguese language would be advantageous, but not mandatory.

    Qualifications: Matric. Relevant diplomas or similar certification would be beneficial.

    Salary is negotiable at market-related levels and includes strong scalable sales and management incentives.
