    Senior Technical Support Analyst

    Job description

    LOCATION: Germiston

    As we continue to build our new Customer Services function, we are looking to recruit Senior Technical Support Analysts , who provide technical escalation and operational coordination of level 2 technical support resources to specified site locations, support for availability management and global/regional project implementation activity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee and provide senior assistance in the completion of Technical Support Analyst duties.
    • Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
    • Install and support PC, laptop, tablet and mobile hardware and software including supporting desk moves/new work place setups.
    • Maintain the IT infrastructure to a high professional standard thereby maximizing the productivity of employees whilst supporting the business plan.
    • Share acquired knowledge with colleagues through formal documentation and communications sessions.
    • Act as leader and mentor to the technical support team.

    Are you the ideal candidate?

    • Experience of working and resolving incidents with the following technologies: Windows 7/10, MS Exchange/Outlook, Office 365, Mobile Technology, Printer Technology, End user networking, switches and routers.
    • Experience working with desktop, laptop, server and printer computer hardware dependencies and relationships with networks, phones, mobile devices and PC operation systems, databases and applications.
    • Experience of technical implementations with good understanding of Microsoft and networking technologies.
    • Experience of mentoring team members.
    • Experience as a Team Leader.
    • Either a recognised IT qualification OR significant IT experience.
