Working side by side with Hosting & Managed Service Providers, we support their technical teams to understand, articulate and demonstrate the power of the Microsoft platform, including Windows, SQL Server and Azure – and ultimately sell solutions that meet and exceed the needs of end-customers. Through collaboration, the impact of your work will touch lives around the world.

Hosting & Managed Service Provider Solutions at Microsoft

Whether hosting architectural design sessions, delivering webinars, troubleshooting or driving proof of concepts with partner technical teams, you’ll help partners deliver impactful cloud services. That means you’ll need to assess their competencies, cultivate their technical knowledge and support them in communicating the value of our technology to customers. Our technology may often be the first of its kind, but it still needs to interact with the current cloud-based environment. With knowledge of the Hosting & Managed Service Provider space, you’ll understand how Microsoft fits within it best.

Whilst you’ll provide deep technical expertise on Microsoft partner cloud solutions and related technologies to partner account teams, we don’t expect you to be an expert in all areas. Broadening your expertise and exposure to some of the world’s most innovative technologies, we’ll support you as you develop your knowledge – and your career.

Skills And Qualifications

• Technical background in the Hosting & Managed Service Provider (Hoster) or related space
• Understand Microsoft products (such as Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, O365, Systems Center, Skypec and SharePoint) and the back-end issues and architecture of Hosters, including provisioning and billing
• Real-world technical experience of deploying Microsoft technology into cloud provider and large scale datacenter environments
• Deep understanding of competitive technologies such as VMware and Amazon Web Services to highlight the potential of Microsoft technologies
• Able to sell and implement complex business solutions for HMSP partners or enterprise customers

Education
