    Digital Transformation/Innovation Officer

    Job Description

    A leading Financial Services Organization is currently seeking a Digital Transformation/Innovation Manager this person needs to be very innovative and have a great understanding of the end to end of digital technologies. This person should be very innovative and have the skill to digitize the whole organization. They should be able to bridge the gap between IT and finance, do feasibility studies and have knowledge of Product Management.

    PURPOSE

    • Through a deep understanding of digital marketing, technologies and industries, the Digital Transformation Officer
    • Leads the development of an implementable Corporate digital strategy
    • Evangelizes within Corporate and with customers about the Corporate digital journey
    • Leads and guides the implementation of a digital strategy that enables the organization Corporate to gain a formidable digital presence, ensuring ongoing digital innovation, exposure and exploitation of new untapped revenue opportunities in the organizations chosen markets.
    • This must enable the organizations to effectively compete with incumbents and new competitors. The Digital Transformation Officer will oversee the execution of specific digital strategy initiatives.

    CONTEXT

    • In the context of a competitive market, the organization has the need to grow its customer base through the introduction of digital marketing strategies, platforms and campaigns. We are looking to do this through revolutionary nontraditional methods that may include disrupting ourselves. A Digital Strategy
    • Defines what the digital journey for the organization
    • Focuses on defining the customer experience as a core for ABF, FML and Corporate functions
    • informs about a current and forward looking view of the market,
    • puts forward the “how” for Corporate to lead in the market through customer experience, digital business model, digitization, and tactics
    • details a plan for digital initiatives,
    • helps to connect the dots between the needs, wants, and desires of the Corporate customers, business, partners, including brand and marketing goals.
    • Explains how the organization as the industry incumbent will collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to achieve its digital-goals (d-goals).
    • There is a requirement to develop and “evangelize” a digital approach to ensure the strategic growth needs of the business and the experiential needs of the customers are clearly understood and incorporated into the strategy. Designing a compelling customer experience and proposition must be at the center.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop a digital strategy for the organization
    • Deliver digital analysis and insight that helps shape digital services, products, channels.
    • Work with Corporate CIO to develop a digital strategy engaging Corporate ExCo, selected customers and partners, and Group IT and other stakeholders.
    • Develop a digital brand for the organization
    • Support the development and application of digital measurement techniques, tools and metrics across the digital media portfolio
    • Collect qualitative and quantitative data and strive to ensure that the data used in the analytics tools is accurate and robust
    • Identify, develop, interrogate and communicate digital analytics trends
    • Think strategically, identify issues that need resolving, work proactively and prioritise resources
    • Continually analyse and alert CIO and business about pivot actions given analysis
    • Build fruitful working relationships with Corporate ExCo, Corporate marketers, IT Architecture, researchers
    • Support the Growth Hub to develop and implement selected digital solutions

    EXPERIENCE

    • A sound understanding of digital technologies, digital marketing, web analytics tools and methodologies.
    • A record of delivering analysis and insights which have shaped the direction of business, services, products or brands
    • Experience delivering customer insights from interviews and research
    • An ability to devise new ways of better exploiting data, identifying insights and presenting data in a stimulating and actionable way

    SKILLS

    • A proven ability to work with customers and suppliers
    • Excellent marketing, strategic, analytical, influencing, and numerical skills
    • Ability to influence and build relationships quickly and to work collaboratively across a number of customers, departments and teams
    • Strong negotiation, prioritisation and management skills
    • A proven ability to manage projects from conception to completion and to lead disparate groups of people to work effectively as a team
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information in the most engaging and audience-appropriate manner
    • Proven ability to integrate business strategies into one implementable business strategy.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • University level study in digital marketing or a related digital major
    • Degree, diploma or experience providing a sound understanding of digital technologies.
