    Systems Services Sales Representative

    Job description

    IBM Systems Services is the largest business of IBM’s Technology Services division and leads the transformation of our key clients to enterprise Hybrid IT Infrastructure, maximizing the use of Cloud services and transitioning the IT shared services organization into a consumer of IT services

    The responsibility of a Sales Leader is a deal maker; bringing together an appropriate technical solution, negotiating pricing and commercial terms, and being able to develop and articulate the value of working with IBM for the client’s needs

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Qualifying the requirements of the client and developing the value proposition to win the business
    • Shaping the overall IBM response; leading a team of technical SMEs
    • Negotiating an acceptable commercial position with the client; “closing the deal”
    • An overall technical awareness of the key issues in Infrastructure Services (e.g. Server, Storage, Cloud, and Service Management)
    • A proven sales record and core sales skills in a value based selling environment
    • Commercial acumen and financial awareness
    • Experience with deal sizes ranging from $500k - $10m
