    Sales Engineer

    Job description

    Our team is expanding and we are out to find additional business developers.

    You should be high energy and able to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will advocate, evangelize and sell data-fuelled products with real-world impact. You’ll dig in and become an authority in tech sales under the mentorship of our senior business developers and Commercial Director.

    Sales Engineer

    We are looking for a standout Sales Engineer who is a natural hustler and will be a strong advocate for our products and services. Many of our clients are household names. This is an outside sales job and you will be focused entirely on bringing in new business and will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. You must be a strategic, process oriented sales professional to be successful in this role.

    This position will be integral to building and scaling a successful sales team within a rapidly growing, dynamic business. You will interact daily with the Commercial Director, Managing Director and the Operations Team. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to help build DataProphet's local and international sales capacity.

    About You

    You are an executor who is results driven and will do what it takes to help support our company and grow the business, but you can also step back and see the big picture, and propose bold ideas to help our company continue to grow and improve our services. You are passionate about building strong and lasting customer relationships. You own your goals. Together with the Commercial Director you will have ownership over the growth of sales - and owners never say “this is not my job.”

    Responsibilities:

    • Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing
    • Generate leads using your own network and utilize DataProphet’s prospecting and sales tools
    • Track your activities throughout the sales process in PipeDrive
    • Actively pursue prospects to move them along the sales funnel
    • Work closely with the product team to ensure customer expectations are met

    Requirements/Experience:

    • 1-3 years sales experience
    • Startup experience is a plus
    • Process oriented
    • Skilled at utilizing the latest customer engagement tools such as Outreach.io
    • Adept at coming up with creative ways to reach new prospects.
    • Existing relationships within the business community
    • 4-year degree from a top university
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
