    Conceptual Copywriter

    Job description

    Clockwork Media is looking for a conceptual copywriter who can craft copy for a variety of clients and knows how to tap into brands to share relevant, insightful and engaging content. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ professional writing experience, specifically in the ATL space. They will join a team of content specialists that are constantly looking to learn and improve the way that content is written and digested.

    Experience and skills required:

    • 3-5 years’ professional writing experience in an agency.
    • Have relevant verifiable degrees or diplomas and qualifications.
    • Can multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
    • Have an out of the box way of thinking.
    • Must have impeccable interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Must have the ability to understand and replicate various tones and styles according to different audiences.
    • Have experience working with global brands.
    • Flawless grammar.
    • Must be able to understand how flow contributes to clear and concise copy.
    • Must be able to work within stringent deadlines while under pressure.
    • Must be able to take criticism and work within clients’ expectations.
    • Must have a sharp eye for detail.
    • Must possess good leadership, people and project management skills.
    • Must be a generally awesome, quirky person, able to take a joke or 50.

    Your duties will include but not be restricted to:

    • Create exciting conceptual projects and creative campaigns
    • Lead the conceptual copywriting and implementation of exceptional ATL components.
    • Communicate creative concepts in presentations to client.
    • Work with the entire creative team to create exceptional work.
    • Guide, mentor and inspire team members to enhance work outputs.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Conduct and perform strategic brainstorms, campaign development activities, creative brief development and creative execution.

    Salary:

    30 K depending on experience.
