Residential Portfolio seeks Innovative Marketing Manager!
Since 1995, when this non profit organization opened doors, they have grown their residential portfolio to be one of the most competitive in Johannesburg central. Their success has been contributed by creating affordable housing for CBD residents. Their tenants can choose from buildings in 3 portfolios, which houses more than 35 buildings and accommodates 20 000 people. To join their Johannesburg team is an opportunity for a Marketing Manager who is looking to make a difference with a creative flair and an eye for detail. This department requires your innovative ideas to set them apart from their competitors. You will do this through analyzing marketing strategies, conceptualization around your brand and the buildings in your portfolio. It is crucial for you to have a look at the current marketing strategy in comparison to your competitors, and come up with your very own, unique and innovative strategy for the company to stand-out. Your focus won't just be on the buildings, but the entire company will be your project. This will include doing market studies to ensure that you are reaching the right audience, from possible tenants, to investors and key share-holders. They currently have 2-major events on a yearly basis, by planning your calendar; you will be able to manage the events and promotions ahead of time. These will have you involved from conceptualization to execution on the day. You will then also be required to draw up strategy reports of what your event/promotion have added to the brand of the company. This will become a part of your monthly reports, which will also include expenses and budgets. With a focus on creating unity through-out the various departments, you will work with all the teams to ensure that the brand strategy is implemented on all levels. This includes stationery-designs, document layout, brand-appropriate content, as well as branding for buildings. In the age of social networking, they have a very small footprint which will need your guidance, posting and creative flair. To be a successful candidate you would have used your Marketing qualification to focus within a Property/Social Housing company. Combined with at least 2 years experience with successful events and project management will be crucial. The budget you have worked with has also exceeded R1 million. Naturally you will thrive in a stressful environment, be a super multi-tasker and easily meet deadlines. To have your own car and driver's license is absolutely vital in securing this opportunity.
