- Developing, managing and implementing a process for enrolment of all new employers
- Management (functional managerial support) through processes and team enablement of the assessment process, including functional support of premium collection
- Managing and Maintaining a complete and accurate database of all employers and employees
- Liaising with companies about matters related to RMA assessment requirement
- Building strong relationships with all current employers and potential new business
- Deliver high levels of customer service to employers and potential new members
- Establish robust mechanisms to capture members’ feedback and suggestions about the resources delivered through RMA
- For the accurate record keeping of all contact details relating to all employees / members in Class XIII and Class IV and the continuous updating of this.
- Identify all potential Class XIII members, obtain ROE’s and issue invoices as per RMA policy.
- Hand over to legal companies not providing ROE’s as per RMA policy.
- Liaising with COO, business units and other stakeholders
- Compiling of relevant business unit/departmental reports
- Ensure RMA’s processes and procedures for processing data comply with the relevant legislation
- Manage various projects within the Membership Services department
- Ensure updating and maintenance of all automation requirements of the department
- Carry out other ad-hoc tasks as required or as appropriate for the needs of the entity
- The position is primarily responsible for participation in collection process and product development initiatives.
- The incumbent will assist the COO in the implementation of a wide range of membership services, underwriting, analysis and related activities.
- This position scope and responsibilities will evolve as market and regulatory conditions change.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Enrolment of all employers for class IV and class XIII.
- Assessment of all employers
- Maintenance of all employers contact details and records.
- Maintenance of all insured employee database
- Assistance with development of premium rate, including working with external actuarial consultants to determine premiums.
- Preparation and testing of individual rates for Class VI and XIII employers. Dispatch of invoices to the Finance Department.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
This position is also responsible for underwriting employers and renewals on an annual basis.The Managers responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of underwriting guidelines and rating processes, including implementing updates as market conditions change.
- Monitoring and reporting of underwriting results.
- Communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, agent, to assure proposals are responsive to customer needs.
- Membership services management and technical reporting
- Preparation of monthly report for EXCO.
- Management of the placement of assets and liabilities cover.
- Contribute in the design, implementation and management of an online system for premium calculation
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff
- Dispatch of letters of good standing and invoicing.
- Set underwriting policies, processes and systems across products lines.
- Review reinsurance cover and wordings to ensure that all gaps are covered.
- Review policy wordings for all products to ensure that all gaps are covered.
