Warehouse Outbound Operative at Medtronic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To be able to pick, pack and dispatch all orders correctly that has been captured for the day. Main Job Duties/Responsibilities Picking orders using RF scanners for dispatch.
• Ensuring all products are scanned correctly as per T/O. Ensure all products that cannot be scanned must be toll gated by a trained operative.
• Ensure all instructions on a transfer order is completed correctly, i.e, consignments and any priority delivery instruction.
• All queries to be sent to the Support team for investigation and resolution. Packing picked orders Ensure orders are correctly checked and scanned at the packstation.
• Follow procedure with regards to enclosing documentation i.e. invoices and dispatch notes with the shipment. Check and verify quality and expiration of product before completing the PGI process.
• Ensure that the company’s Health & Safety requirements are met Sort stock according to procedures Load vehicles for out-going orders
• Assisting Inbound with unloading containers when required Daily Housekeeping of warehouse and work areas.
• Assisting with other warehouse functions when required Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Safety, Health & Environmental, and Quality Assurance
• To be able to work overtime when required.

Job Experience

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical / medical devices QA focused
• Able to work to meet deadlines
• Living in the Johannesburg area

Skills/Competencies

• Computer Literate
• Strong attention to detail
