Summary

• The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies.As a Professional Practitioner, the incumbent also is responsible for and is held accountable for his/her own acts and omissions. The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs.
• Is a role model in the delivery of evidence-based care and will actively participate in clinical governance, auditing of health records to ensure compliance, ensuring all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately, effective risk prevention and management, manage acuity and skill mix to ensure appropriate level of care.

Requirements

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife
• Relevant qualification within a specialist area will be advantageous
• + 1 - 5 Years working experience in same position
• Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislation

Work Experience

• Working experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry will be advantageous
• Relevant working experience as Registered Nurse/Midwife in Maternity Ward
• Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation
• Promote and maintain good public relations with patients, relatives and visitors

Knowledge

• Computer Literacy essential
• Fluent communication in English essential
• Nursing standards
• Administer and store medication in accordance with the hospital policies. Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited appropriately
• Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation
• Contribute to the holistic care of patients
• Practice patient care according to the Scope of Practice and assume total responsibility for these activities

Summary

• Marketing Manager will be responsible for the internal and external marketing of the hospital and brand management.

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of marketing strategies
• Actively participate in hospital marketing and communication campaigns and initiatives
• Planning, Organising and Rolling out of Brand Activation events
• Performing PR on print and digital platforms as approved by management
• Actively participating in GP visits and introduction of specialists to GPs
• Liaise with internal and external clients, such as, doctors and patients
• Actively partnering with HR on staff events
• Actively driving and partnering with other stakeholders on CSI initiatives
• Plan and control the specific marketing budget
• Researching and implementing new and appropriate marketing strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with Doctors (Internal and External)

Requirements

• Post Graduate Diploma / Degree in Marketing or equivalent NQF Level 6 is essential

Work Experience

• Three or more years Marketing experience
• Experience in a Private Hospital environment would be advantageous

Knowledge

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills are essential and working knowledge of the design programs
• Must be willing to travel to and from clients or doctors
• Driver’s License and own vehicle is essential
