Role Purpose

To fulfil the role of a Sponsor Executive in terms of the JSE Listings requirements

Responsibilities

• Carry out equity/debt sponsor related activities as set out in the JSE Listings Requirements including inter alia:
• Advising and guiding clients on the application of the JSE Listing Requirements;
• Ensuring completeness and correctness of all JSE related documents;
• Managing the submission of all client related documents to the JSE;
• Reviewing and releasing of JSE related announcements and financial reports on SENS.
• Checking and assisting with the drafting and setting up of shareholder circulars, timetables, announcements and other JSE related documents.
• Liaising with the JSE and other regulators as required.
• Managing ongoing client liaison and building relationships.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate must have a tertiary education and be a qualified sponsor executive.

• The candidate must be conscientious, reliable and efficient and maintain the highest degree of professionalism and business acumen at all times.
• He/she should have good interpersonal skills, a commitment to client service and the ability to liaise with clients and proactively address their needs.
• S/he must be self-motivated, take ownership of tasks and be able to manage self in a demanding and disciplined way.
• The candidate must be able to work well both in a team and independently, in a pressurised environment that often requires overtime and being on standby after leaving the office.
