Job description
The successful applicant will have experience in developing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System within a Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device related industry. You will be required to provide quality and compliance support for the product portfolio throughout the Africa cluster as well as to ensure that imported products are released in the market in compliance to local quality regulations. Your problem solving skills will be put to the test when leading and co-ordinating the resolution of quality, medical and product safety issues affecting products in the Market.
A relevant Degree in Quality, Pharmacy, Chemistry or equivalent coupled with at least 5 years’ experience working in a quality and or regulatory compliance function within a Healthcare, Hygiene, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device related industry is required. You must also have a strong understanding of the role that external bodies such as the Ministry of Health play in the licensing of Medicines, Medical Devices, Health, Food, Cosmetics and other applicable portfolios.
