    Human Capital Executive

    Job description

    Consideration will be given to a dynamic, results driven individual to lead Bytes Managed Solutions in people management practices and to manage strategic and tactical Human Capital support throughout the organisation which will encourage a dynamic and high performance culture. This will require a knowledgeable executive who has the ability of aligning Best Practice with Strategic Direction of the Organisation. Preference will be given to a PDI Female.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Operational Executive responsibility to develop, implement and maintain a Human Capital (People) Strategy which is aimed at, among others, providing a framework for current and future Human Capital initiatives that will support the Bytes Managed Solutions Strategic Objectives and Business Plan with budget.

    Reporting line responsibility for Human Capital Management (HCM)- (operational direct support and inclusive of the Group Shared Services) to support, develop, maintain Human Capital policies, procedures, processes and systems to promote efficiency in Talent Management in line with the overall Group objectives and Operational business requirements in areas such as:

    • Recruitment, Selection and Induction
    • Education, Training and Development
    • Performance Management
    • Reward and Remuneration
    • Career and Succession Planning
    • Employee Wellness
    • Employee Relations
    • Benchmarking and best practices
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, regulations and standards.
    • Drive organisational change to support strategic objectives
    • Drive initiatives that create a culture of continuous improvement
    • Administer and analyse the company’s annual employee engagement survey
    • Develop an induction and training program to support high performance culture
    • Establish a proactive partnership with business in HCM strategy
    • Develop a recognition and reward strategy to support strategic objectives
    • Develop an employee value proposition to attract and retain high performing individuals
    • Integrating workforce management and talent management strategies through a holistic approach to HCM
    • Automating critical HCM initiatives in a way that supports existing people strategies
    • Identify gaps between supply and demand for talent through strategic workforce planning
    • Develop and adapt a comprehensive set of processes and tools, which will enable and allow Bytes Managed Solutions to meet transformation (BBBEE) objectives.
    • Ensure that a dynamic and high performance culture is entrenched throughout the organisation and within the Human Capital Business Unit to promote the notion of career growth and effective job performance.
    • Develop a skills retention strategy, inclusive of people and skills readiness to accommodate business growth
    • Develop a skills and people rotation and growth path
    • Manage and drive the required succession planning throughout the organisation

    QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Degree in HCM
    • 5-7 years Executive Management Experience of a Human Capital Division
    • Distributed organisational staff management (compliment of 1300+)
    • 5-7 years Executive Leadership & Management experience
    • Proven organisational change and development experience
    • Strategic Thinking
    • Business Acumen
    • Executive Leadership
    • Broad knowledge of legislation related to Human Capital field, e.g. BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA and DTI Codes
    • Excellent knowledge of Human Capital Theories & Principles
    • HCM Best practices
