Job description

A Cape Town based retail company is seeking an Intermediate BI Developer with a strong background in SQL development along with 2+ years’ experience in a BI Development focused role.

DUTIES
- Implement business specifications from internal user requirements
- Implement technical specifications from specifications provided
- Change requests pertaining to relevant data sets
- Support and maintenance of new and existing solutions
- Data Staging (ETL Processes)
- Data Transformation Services
- Respond to queries pertaining to all data sets
- Successful delivery of projects
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years’ experience in a BI Development focused role
- 2 years’ experience with SQL Server (2012-2016)
- 2 years’ experience with SQL Reporting Services
- Relevant IT qualification
- Excel – Intermediate to Advanced
- SSIS, SSAS (advantageous)
- SCRUM (advantageous)
