Senior Analyst: Analytics and Reporting at Nedbank

Job description

Job Purpose

To oversee and action on the creation and compilation of management and strategic reports that are aligned to strategic intent, through qualitative and quantitative analysis, and recommending insights that enable sound business decisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Report and present effectively the key findings in an appropriate way to the audience for them to execute decisions
• Improve client delivery/experience by encouraging a proactive environment of quality analytics and insights.
• Developed trusting / professional internal relationships and establish clear lines of communication between stakeholders to ensure that quality of delivery is always upheld
• Developed collaborative relationships with contractors / consultants / suppliers which met business needs.
• Produce targeted reports/presentations that summarise findings and recommendations to inform senior management decision-making
• Support the annual and interim reporting process for CIB
• Provide indept analysis and insights into Competitors and rankings across the business
• Develop Analytical dashboards for measuring and monitoring portfolios across the entire CIB
• Manage the risk based budget supporting the 3 year planning process
• Effective monitoring and analysis of Regulatory/Economic capital within the Cluster
• Identify various stakeholder requirements and collaborate across divisions to achieve common purpose
• Challenging the status quo with a view to improving the environment or people's understading
• Sharing information in different ways to increase stakeholders understanding
• Continuously developed professional knowledge relating to field of expertise
• Shared knowledge with team and other professionals
• Ensure self embraces the Nedbank vision and values by leading by example and re-enforcing values during meetings
• Supported team efforts to achieve transformation goals and established a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals
• Supported and participated in corporate citizenship initiatives
• Analyse, research, develop & implement innovative ideas & solutions adding value to Nedbank

Essential Qualification

• Honours degree or relevant 4 year degree

Preferred Qualification

• Masters in Business Adminstration, CA/CFA or FRM
