What we are looking for?

We are currently looking for full-time Operations Interns who can support our fast growing and highly motivated team in our head office in Cape Town. We are looking for self-driven and hardworking people with strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

The entrepreneurial path at CarZar is unique in many ways, from the financial upside to the amazing learning that other affiliated startups of our group can provide and the possibility of building innovative, exciting C2B internet/mobile models.

What will you do as Operations Intern at CarZar?

• Assist the COO & General Managers with relevant Operations development & strategic tasks
• Focus on the optimization and implementation of the Ops Processing procedure
• Assist with the execution, analysis and validation of various operational “tests”
• Assist with planning and launch of promotional kiosks/car buying centres, including helping to source locations, recruit personnel, define processes and measure and optimize performance of centres
• Assist with CRM development and adjustments
• Assist with various Ops processing related tasks
• Assist with various functions as required

Requirements

Our ideal candidate:

• Entrepreneur - pragmatic, full of energy, self-managed, and extremely hands-on
• Strong analytical skills and love for numbers IS A MUST
• Strong inter-personal/communication skills
• Fast learner, well organized and resistant to the stress
• Very independent with a strong ability to go further than the expectations
• Strong desire to progress fast in career
• AGAIN HANDS ON (We are not dentists, our business happens outside the office!)

Expected Background And Technical Skills

• Currently studying towards or have completed a bachelors degree
• Relevant experience in Startup environment or Strategic Consulting is considered a plus
