Purpose:

Digi outsource is looking for a suitable candidate with a passion for sports and a keen interest in sporting data and analytics. The Trading Support Host role is to provide assistance to the established team of sports traders. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Head of Desk.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Monitor real-time sports events/ results
• Under the guidance of Traders, manage the positions of each sport and take action to ensure maximum profitability
• Perform customer analysis
• Monitor customers and bet limits
• Investigate and analyse market trends to obtain insight that assist in the prediction of customer betting patterns
• Observe competitor activity and make real time adjustments where appropriate
• Update databases that will assist with trading/ compilations
• Liaise with various internal departments in relation to sportsbook related escalations
• Develop trading skills-set by working closely with senior members of staff
• Keep up-to-date with sporting activity by following sports events and new updates
• Maintain high level of awareness on internal policies, systems and procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant Diploma/Degree or similar in a related field
• Sports fanatic with a keen interest in sporting data and analytics
• Highly numerate

Advantageous Requirements:

Exposure to trading environment

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and public holidays
