The core purpose of the job is to ensure MTN complies with content buying regulations across different geographies.

• Strategy Development and Implementation
• Lead the formulation of the MTN Content strategy in line with the overarching business goals and ensure that MTN maintains and improves its leadership positioning
• Ensure effective implementation of the strategy by means of providing direction, structure, frameworks, models, plans and roadmaps to be adopted by the OpCos
• Define the standards and set targets for performance across various activities and identify the parameters for measurement of performance.
• Operational Delivery
• Prepare and assure all legal documentation where necessary
• Ensure the correct procedure is followed in buying rights for digital content and ensure compliance in different geographies
• Provide input into price plans, tariff regulatory compliance and commercial health of the product portfolio
• Oversee delivery assurance on third party contracts pertaining to specific products or projects

You must have the following:

Education

• Minimum of 4 year Bachelor's degree
• Masters degree advantageous

Experience

• Senior Management track record of 5 years
• Understanding of emerging markets
• Experience in working across diverse cultures and geographies
