    Manager Retail Strategy

    Job description

    GRADE : M5

    DIVISION : Sales and Marketing

    DEPARTMENT : Sales Support

    REFERENCE : MRS17

    PURPOSE / DETAILS OF THE JOB

    Purpose of the job:

    • Develop short but mostly long term Retail Strategies and Planning in conjunction with Regional Teams to improve retail sales within Dealer market.
    • Develop and Manage relevant Sales processes to achieve NSA Sales objectives and targets.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Sales Strategy Management
    • Dealer Quarterly Campaign Management
    • Sales processes Management (including S-DOS)
    • Sales Support & Systems Management
    • Budget management and % saving
    • Resource Management
    • Dealer Roadshow Planning & Management

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing OR any related qualification
    • 5 - 10 years’ experience in Management and Planning in the Automotive or Manufacturing industry

    BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE

    • Ability to perform under pressure and appropriately prioritise tasks
    • Must be able to understand market trends, benchmark and react accordingly
    • In-depth understanding of retail environment with focus on Dealer sales and processes
    • Ability to work unsupervised. Independent decision making and propose and execute innovative solutions (PDCA)
    • Highly motivated and self-confident
    • In-depth knowledge of Motor Industry & Retail Sales environment for Dealers
    • Knowledge on Dealer and Fleet Sales processes (NSSW/S-DOS)
    • Business case interpretation of Market and Sales Trends in order to identify sales regression and improve processes
    • Understanding Model Range and End item planning and forecasting trends as benchmark in industry
    • Sales Management & Financial acumen
    • Management of Retail Sales Process flow
    • Performance Management processes and elements
