Job description

Purpose :

Defines needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. Actively works as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and business systems. To facilitate the development of Business Requirement Specifications by assisting business to articulate the changes they require on a system with its related processes. To analyse business processes for efficiency gains and cost saving opportunities in line with the business objectives. To enable and guide business process management.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• 4 - 5 years business analyst and industry related experience
• Experience in three or more of the following areas : Software Life Cycle Development, Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture,
• Business Analysis, System Analysis, User Acceptance Testing, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance,
• Business Process Analysis, and Maintenance and Support, General Understanding of the globally accepted practices for business analysis

Qualifications:

• Business Analysis Certification, National Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Advanced degrees are preferred

Accountabilities:

• Work with business owner/sponsor to elicit high-level requirements and capture business needs
• Engage with business users to incorporate detailed needs
• Clearly articulate, models and documents detailed business requirements
• Coordinate project delivery by collaborating in solution reviews and walk-throughs to validate the business requirements against system designs and proposed solutions
• Own and Trace business requirements throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for stability and unplanned changes.
• Communicate business analysis progress and delivery through the appropriate process mechanisms
• Proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues
