    Trade Marketing Analyst

    Job description

    Major Tasks and Responsibilities

    • To assist in the quality execution of category, brand, shopper and channel plans through the following key functions:
    • Develop reporting tools and services providing analytical measurement, reporting and tracking across all categories and Channels.
    • Point of Sale Development and Process Management
    • Ensure the upkeep of various resource databases such as Aztec, IMS, Impact Rx etc
    • Provide Key category updates and reviews as needed. Coordinate analytical support to the BCH Business on channel, customer and brand performance analysis, trends/competitive intelligence and activity effectiveness, providing post promotional analysis
    • Build daily/ weekly and monthly reporting & business tracking to aid strategic discussion across all BCH brands.
    • Preparing and communicating reports by category, brand and customer, in working with the Trade Marketing Manager
    • Setup and management of key trackers- POS distribution, NPD roll out, distribution, pricing etc.
    • Actively work in the field/trade at least 4 days a month (on average) with sales and KA’s to understand the customer environment as well as to conduct competitor analysis and data insights gathering.
    • Focus category being Dermatology, with responsibility of brands including Bepanthen, Zambuk, Advantan and Canesten.
    • Provide support to brand teams in development of Shopper strategies, as well as the carry through of these strategies into customer facing plans with the Kam teams.
    • Manage customer master grids by category /brand
    • Involvement in the design, production and distribution of POS elements to align with booked activity.
    • Involvement in all BTL in-store cross functional activities between Brand and KAM/RSM teams to ensure effective integration between field sales, marketing, channel controlling, and 3rd Party selling & merchandising teams.

    Who you are:

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Tertiary education in Marketing, Business or Strategic Management (Analystics/Statistics would be beneficial)
    • Min 3 – 5 years experience in FMCG and or OTC
    • Trade Marketing Analyst role experience would be beneficial

    • Proven analystical ability
    • Problem solving and ability to identify category opportunities and risks
    • Ability to work cross-functionally
    • Advanced excel knowledge is essential
    • Channel & retailer customer understanding
    • Agility to handle multiple projects and stakeholders
    • Proven ability to deal well with change and setbacks
    • Team player
