Survey Programmer at Columinate (Pty) Ltd

Columinate is seeking a motivated full-time survey programmer to start as soon as possible. If you are interested in a fast-growing, team-oriented and innovative company, this opportunity could be for you!

This role will be responsible for programming digital surveys using various survey programming platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Programming online surveys with the required quality and productivity levels
• Understanding and clarifying the project requirements
• Programming and testing survey logic (HTML, JavaScript, CSS knowledge applied)
• Developing scripts to handle custom functionality on online/mobile surveys
• Providing automation functionalities to improve survey delivery timelines
• All programming, integration,  and deployment for our online/mobile surveys
• Developing and documenting survey programming best practice guidelines
• Undertaking quality assurance of online/mobile surveys
• Providing technical support to researchers/project managers/panel manager
• Providing cross-platform compatibility email invitations for survey deployment
• Proactively identifying and solving problems, exploring new technologies to enhance survey quality
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously and manage priorities on tight deadlines.
• Create client friendly reporting links

REQUIREMENTS

Personal Skills/Attributes

• Ability to work within a team, but also independently to ensure work is completed
• Fast learner, proven ability to deliver in a high-pressure environment
• Communication and project management skills.

Skills and Qualification

• Undergraduate degree/diploma in computer science or an equivalent IT qualification
• General knowledge of online research is a plus
• One+ years general work experience
• Experience in survey programming (advantageous)
• Knowledge of web programming (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP)
• Experience with Microsoft application and proficiency in Excel
• Good analytical and communication skills
