The End-user Computing (EUC) Technical Architect is an entry level position in the EUC

Technical Architects job family.

The EUC Technical Architect’s primary responsibility will be to interpret business requirements into a technical EUC solutions framework and to provide technology roadmaps governed by strategic direction, business requirements as well as resourcing and financial constraints. They will specify and design less complex solutions based on their technical expertise across multiple domains. This will include the ability to design the physical domain from the communications layer, to EUC protocols, interconnects, hardware for all services (apps, web, database, storage and HA/DR) and all cloud services for hybrid solutions.

What you'll be doing

In this position you will be required to:

• Provide technical direction, frameworks and technology roadmaps to meet business strategic needs.
• Perform solution design, sales support, business development and transition of projects from presales to delivery.
• Participate or lead in scope of work determination, product pricing and RFP/RFI responses.
• Assist with the determination of outsourcing, product pricing and collaborate with the Client Partner to develop an implementation solution.
• Manage client proof of concept (POC) initiatives and setup and delivery of the POC.
• Train, coach and mentor the sales team, engineers, consultants and specialists.
• Apply technical project lead knowledge and experience to guide successful implementation of a system solution.
• Perform a variety of tasks that will directly impact opportunity pursuit and realisation
