    Sr Key Account Manager

    Job description

    Position Summary

    This is an exciting and important role, responsible for leading a team of Customer facing Key Account managers. You will also manage all business development aspects with a primary focus on sales revenue, achieved by winning, maintaining and expanding relationships with our channel partners. P&L management is also an important aspect of this role.

    Accountabilities

    • Conduct contract negotiations and ensures partner compliance with partner agreements
    • Evaluate the organizations value chain, find ways to become more efficient and create a competitive advantage.
    • Develops strategies to proactively recruit new qualifying partners and devises support plans to ensure retention of partners of various channel types
    • Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support
    • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives with partner accounts
    • Work closely with National sales manager and sales partners to ensure that correct range is stocked, brand equity is maintained, market penetration is increased.
    • Develops and manages a channel, setting up the channel’s infrastructure and allocating the budget across the channel
    • Keeps abreast of competition, competitive issues and products, demonstrating industry knowledge and continuous self-development
    • Creates systems and procedures to streamline partner management , stablishing productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts
    • Assist Managing Director with Planning, budgeting and managing all sales activities
    • Support National Account Managers and Operations managers to ensure national objectives are met with particular emphasis on working capital, stock, promotions.
    • Assist with strategic planning in conjunction with the marketing department to ensure that forecasts are accurate and margins are met

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline
    • Previous experience managing a team is essential
    • Experience of working as a Key Account Manager
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, highly demanding environment
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills, clear written English language skills
    • Results-oriented, collaborative, customer focused mentality
