    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create a welcoming, inspirational, and personalised experience for all customers
    • Drive sales and turnover by motivating and inspiring the team members to achieve sales targets
    • Ensure visual merchandising standards create a beautiful store experience
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy and fully replenished sales floor
    • Ensure stock levels, stock losses and shrinkage are effectively managed
    • Ensure all products are correctly priced with relevant Price stickers and /or signage
    • Ensure that stock take, and cycle count variance reports are checked, variances are investigated, and stock shortages or unbalanced stock information is escalated to the Area Manager
    • Ensure that point of sale and banking procedures are adhered to and raise any areas of concern with the Area Manager

    Recruitment Administrator - Edenvale

    Job Description

    • Establish and maintain a data base of existing applications
    • Ensure all new applications received are recorded on the data base
    • Monitor internal recruitment and external recruitment email addresses and add applications to the data base
    • Ensure that the recruitment tracker system is fully utilised for all positions recruited
    • Partner with HR Generalists to draft vacancy notices and agree all details including but not limited to who the hiring HR Generalist will be, where the vacancy will be posted e.g., internally, externally and closing dates
    • Update all job advertisements based on the signed off role profile
    • Place advertisements on the approved external job portals and confirm best approach for internal distribution
    • Shortlist applicants against minimum requirements and address any queries with hiring HR Generalist
    • Ensure all arrangements are made timeously for all interviews including confirmation of interview attendance, confirmation of venue, document preparation, etc.
    • Participate as a member of the interview panel as and when required
    • Conduct risk assessments on short listed applicants as per the risk assessment guidelines
    • Conduct employment/work reference checks on shortlisted applicants for identified positions as and when required
    • Generate the relevant contract of employment for all newly hired employees upon confirmation by the line manager and the HR Generalist of the successful applicant to be hired.
    • Compile an employee file for each new hire
    • Ensure that the new hire employee file contains all required new hire documentation and that all documents are signed where applicable, completed in full as per standard requirements
    • Hand over the completed new employee file to the relevant Payroll Administrator
    • Prepare all required records and documentation for audits
    • Ensure accuracy of data captured on the recruitment system and perform data integrity exercises as per agreed timelines
    • Liaise with service providers to address any system concerns or queries
    • Build effective relationships with service providers including but not limited to colleges and beauty schools
    • Participate in recruitment related projects including but not limited to Learnership intakes, Internships, and new store openings
    • Regret unsuccessful candidates as and when required
    • Ensure the HR Generalist is provided with regular status updates on the progress of all positions actively being recruited
    • Partner with the hiring line manger to arrange for the induction of new recruits
    • Perform any other reasonable task delegated to support the delivery to SLA’s.  
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation including but not limited to Employment Equity and the Protection of Personal Information Act

    Requirements 

    • A minimum of Grade 12 is required
    • Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources or any other related field an advantage
    • Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in similar position or positions
    • Minimum 3 years solid recruitment administration experience
