6x Rope Access Level 1 Technicians (JHB East Rand) at Ecowize Group

Description

• We are seeking motivated and safety-conscious Rope Access Level 1 Technicians to join our Special Projects team. The successful candidates will assist in performing work at height using rope access techniques under the supervision of higher-level technicians.
• This role involves cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and general industrial tasks across various sites while strictly adhering to safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure operational efficiency with the implementation of the appropriate standards of safety and quality control in rope access activities, according to Ecowize standards.
• Responsible for all cleaning services for clients e.g. silo cleaning, window washing, and other cleaning services where working at heights are required.
• Responsible for all specialised cleaning services for clients e.g. decontamination, broiler cleaning and any specialised industrial cleaning required.
• Maintain a good working relationship with the client and team.
• Maintain the rope access equipment ensuring that the certification is kept up to date.
• Responsible for all equipment and the cleaning of equipment, also ensure that nothing is missing when requested to work on site.
• Attend client meetings during the task planning or organizing period.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained so that the quality of service meets the necessary standards.

Requirements

• Must be medically and physically fit to work at heights.
• Previous work experience in the food industry is essential
• Must be willing to work flexible hours.
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Must be service-oriented.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to execute jobs according to the client and Ecowize standards.
• Good planning and time management skills
• Good knowledge of the cleaning industry
