Bookkeeper (AA/EE)
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 1 - 5 years
- Location Western Cape
- Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit
Job description

Duties:
- Reconcile local & foreign currency bank accounts, VAT, credit cards, debtors and creditors, petty cash and payroll
- Administrative support of a high level with quality and accurate outcomes
- Capturing, processing and verifying journals
- Assisting with the statutory returns, adhering to statutory deadlines
- Bank administration
- Stock costing
Education:
- Minimum: B.Com Accounting Degree or similar with 1-5 years’ previous relevant experience
- Ideal: Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles
Knowledge / Skills:
- Accounting Principles
- Statutory Returns
- Internal Control Procedures, IAS for SME’s, IFRS
- SAGE ERP experience will be advantageous
- Reconciliations
