Bookkeeper (AA/EE) at VASTech

Job description

Duties:

• Reconcile local & foreign currency bank accounts, VAT, credit cards, debtors and creditors, petty cash and payroll
• Administrative support of a high level with quality and accurate outcomes
• Capturing, processing and verifying journals
• Assisting with the statutory returns, adhering to statutory deadlines
• Bank administration
• Stock costing

Education:

• Minimum: B.Com Accounting Degree or similar with 1-5 years’ previous relevant experience
• Ideal: Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles

Knowledge / Skills:

• Accounting Principles
• Statutory Returns
• Internal Control Procedures, IAS for SME’s, IFRS
• SAGE ERP experience will be advantageous
• Reconciliations
